We have been commissioned to create an installation for the lobby and public interior space of the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati that will open in October 2024.

Our project Chroma Bloom has been completed and opened along with the new MixC retail complex in Nanjing, CN for the 2023-24 holiday season.

Google’s new campus in Mountain View is open to the public along with our recent project, Halo, in the public park space surrounding the campus. Halo is one of many large scale artworks located on the campus as a part of their extensive art programming.

Excited to have been selected as a 2023 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Digital/Electronic Arts. Very grateful for the peer recognition and to be part of a program that has supported artists of all disciplines across New York State for 38 years. Full details at nyfa.org/blog.

Kansas City International Airport’s new terminal opens to the public. We are excited to have our project, Cloud Gazing, installed in the 500 ft main concourse connecting the gateways.

The ribbon-cutting for our recently completed public artwork, Spectral Grove, and the grand opening of Pivot Park will take place this afternoon at 37th and Market Street in Philadelphia. More info about the project here.

Our latest interactive public artwork, Mirror Mirror, has opened in the new waterfront park in Old Town Alexandria. Our installation is the inaugural project as part of an annual public art program, Site See, created by the Alexandria Office of the Arts. Mirror Mirror will be on view and open to the public until September 2019. You can find images and video of the interactivity here.

We just finished a permanent installation in the front entrance of the new 21C Museum Hotel in Lexington. The hotel was designed Deborah Berke Partners and is an adaptive reuse of an amazing McKim, Mead & White building. More info and photos here.

We collaborated with the Living on the exhibition design of ReGeneration. The exhibition is the first of its kind at the New York Hall of Science to combine art and science through the work of nine artists. More photos and info here.

SOFTlab will be a part of a day-long conference, Future Summit Now, at the Center for Architecture organized by Emerging New York Architects. The day-long event includes panel discussions and workshops with a long list of great designers and architects.

We have installed a large site-specific hanging piece at the north end of Mott Street to act as a gateway to this year’s San Gennaro festival. The piece was commissioned by Two Bridges Neighborhood Council and graciously supported by St.Patrick’s Old Cathedral. We collaborated with our good friends Ambre and Andrew from The They Co. who curated, organized, permitted, and all around made the piece possible. You can see photos of the installation here.
